The initial contact or opportunity to develop short- or long-term relationships comes because of opportunities that arise from performance or teaching in religious or academic institutions. Specific vehicles of access currently include teaching in an area or subject of special need, performance on western or indigenous instruments (individuals and groups), vocal performance (individuals and groups), composition, conducting and research.
