Lithuanian Students Complete Training, Honor Predecessors

Christian Music Academy (CMA) students in Lithuania successfully completed their first phase of music education in February while honoring those believers who paved the way.

CMA Lithuania formed in 2010, after Lithuanians participated in seminars at CMA Latvia and recognized the interest and need for music and worship training in their own country. CMA Lithuania now operates self-sufficiently with faculty supported by MIWC.

Current students recently held an evening of music for the older generation of ministers and their spouses who began the evangelical movement in Lithuania.

MIWC supported missionary Serhiy Biolkin said the Lithuanian leaders “have a unified vision of this ministry and a strong desire to extend the educational program to other churches.”

Four training sessions are offered each year in two Lithuanian cities: the capital city of Vilnus and Kaunas.
