MIWC Sends Team to Nepal Women's Conference

More than 150 women to attend from three districts

This month, MIWC sent a team to Nepal to focus on the raising up of female leaders in the church's ministry.

MIWC's Beverly Solberg (pictured) bevsolberg.jpgalong with Teach Beyond's Lynette Sorensen traveled to Eastern Nepal for a women's conference taking place October 18 – 20 at the new church building in Pakhribas.

More than 150 women leaders from three districts in Eastern Nepal will participate – Dhankuta, Tehrathum and Bhjopur.

MIWC began a prayer partnership with Nepal pastor Ganesh Poudel in early NepalWomensPrayerMtg.png2017. A trip there in May by an MIWC representative showed how great the church's growth is and what elements are essential for it to continue.

"God heard our prayer indeed!" Pastor Poudel said.

"We thanked God because our Ministry
will increase greatly in East Nepal through you because we have [a] big women['s] community here in East Nepal... We hope and believe that our women guests will [be] greatly encouraged through the Women Leaders Conference."

MIWC's long term goal in Nepal is to develop leadership in the church for the purpose of raising worshipers for Christ, including leadership training in both the non-musical and musical sense.
