Estonia Ministry Busy with Camp and Upcoming Levite Conference
MIWC Europe Director Sergii Bilokin joined with Bethany Church in Tallinn, Estonia to hold a children's music camp for both Russian and Estonian-speaking children.
The camp studied how Christmas is celebrated on different continents.
On one day, the 32 children and 12 leaders pretended to fly to Africa and studied the culture and musical instruments of this large continent. Bilokin said the children really enjoyed learning the song, Asante Sana Jesu! in Swahili.
After the camp ended, Bilokin's focus turned to a brand new venture – MIWC Europe's establishment of an annual music conference in Talinn, Estonia for worship leaders from across Europe.
Called the Levite Conference, this Feb. 2–3 arts and leadership event's goal is to find new ways to equip, educate, engage and envision learning in worship, music, the arts and leadership. The conference will include teaching by MIWC Associate James Janzen.
According to conference organizers, "This is a conference on art and biblical leadership for rebels. If you're in service, then [the] Levite conference is for you. This is where you can come and get equipment to develop your talents and gifts, and, of course, share them with other participants. It's a place for growth and learning."
