MIWC Board Meeting Update
Board Focuses On Training Mature Worshipers
The MIWC Board of Directors met in October and came away with renewed sense of purpose to the vision that God has given MIWC from the beginning.
The board focused on John 4:23–24 — Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
As the Father is seeking worshipers, MIWC's goal is to train worshipers, ones who must know how to worship in spirit and truth, for the Almighty God, through Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
MIWC's President Steve Benham said, "We work in Jamaica, Ukraine and Russia to bring believers to maturity and this requires the ability to worship in their own heart language, which happens through our children’s ministries, adult ministries and training ministries."
The board also celebrated what God has done through the thousands of converts and thousands now involved in worship ministry.
MIWC welcomed new board member Mark Kuhlman, as well as approved the new budget. Kuhlman is pictured far left, followed by board members Tim Sawyer, Steve Benham and Phil Bratten.
Board members agreed they feel the time is pressing for MIWC and they are feeling a sense of urgency to find practical ways for people to commit both financially and prayerfully to MIWC's ministry.
