Franklin Graham's Festival of Hope Coming to Ukraine
L'viv Arena to host June 2015 Event
MIWC is thrilled to announce that its Ukrainian associates will be coordinating the choir and orchestra at Franklin Graham's 2015 Festival of Hope in L'viv, Ukraine.
The L'viv Arena, which was built to host matches during the 2012 European Football Championship, will offer its almost 35,000 seating capacity to this June 20-21, 2015 evangelical outreach event.
More than 2,000 of those seats will be reserved for the festival choir, which is currently being put together by MIWC's Serhiy Bilokin.
He and his family have relocated to L'viv, where he will spend the next months forming the choir that will perform next to Christian artists such as Michael W. Smith, Huntley Brown, The Tommy Coomes Band and Brian Blessing.
So far, about 230 vocalists have signed on for the festival choir and rehearsals are underway.
Bilokin said recently a group of saboteurs from Russia were caught in L'viv trying to plant bombs for terrorist attacks.
MIWC understands Moscow leadership is aware of the Festival and event organizers are planning for extraordinarily high security measures to ensure safety.
Please pray for peace during the months of preparation time and for the Festival of Hope event in June.
