WHAT WE DO

In 2010 at the request of a small group of Evangelical churches, MIWC began a two-year music and worship leader training program, now known as the Georgian Christian Music Academy (GCMA.) The GCMA continued to grow, first holding summer youth music camps and then creating academy classes for campers who desired more rigorous instruction.

An MIWC partnership with Franklin Graham’s Festival of Hope in 2014 also significantly energized the Church in Georgia, leading to greater GCMA numbers and requests from Georgian leadership for additional in-depth mentor programs.

The ministry continues to flourish, with an emphasis on evangelistic children and family ministries and leadership development. Invitations for MIWC to partner in Armenia, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan have also come in but greater financial resources and new associates are required to meet that need.
