Music in World Cultures is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, founded in Minnesota. The organization’s primary offices are currently located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. MIWC files annual reports in both Minnesota and Pennsylvania, as required by law. The organization’s annual IRS 990 filings are prepared by Brennan, Piper & Associates, PC, Certified Public Accountants. Reviewed Financial Statements are prepared annually by Beerman, Piper & Associates, LLC, Certified Public Accountants. 
 
MIWC places a high priority on financial accountability and stewardship of donor gifts. All financial operations, financial statements, and policies are reviewed annually by the MIWC Board of Directors. MIWC practices are also reviewed and approved annually by accountants. MIWC upholds the Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship published by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability, which annually reviews statements, operations, and compliance.
